Original cap badge The 17th/21st Lancers

Very good original cap badge issued to the 17th/21st Lancers. This came with a collection of original WW1 cap badges and it certainly dates from WW2 with the possibility of anytime from WW1. In 1922 the old 17th Lancers merged with the 21st Lancers to become the 17th/21st Lancers. The badge design remained the same as the 17th, of which this is an original. 

The badge is all in white metal and nicely curved. It shows plenty of service wear with signs of old Brasso and dirt.
