Unissued RAF cap badge, "Fire Service, Air Force Department"

A mint unissued RAF cap badge dated 1992 for the "Fire Service, Air Force Department". It comes with its small plastic bag of issue, tissue paper and original issue printed label dated 1992. This is the 2nd pattern with enamel and chrome. The 1st issue was all chrome when the Department was formed in 1959. It was disbanded in 1991 and amalgamated with other fire services to become "The Defence Fire Service". We suspect with this badge and the label of 1992 that it was about to be issued then the service was disbanded, so the badge remained in its bag.
