Rare original WW2 cap badge The 11th (Royal Militia, Island of Jersey) Battalion, The Hampshire Regiment
Very good rare original cap badge issued to the 11th (Royal Militia, Island of Jersey) Battalion, The Hampshire Regiment. The Battalion left Jersey on the 20th of June, 1940.
The badge shows the three leopards facing to the right, so it's thought to have been a converted opposite facing collar badge, turned into a cap badge. Slider on the reverse. Very good condition.
