Original WWI Royal Flying Corps (RFC) Pilot's Wings cloth badge

A British R.F.C. (Royal Flying Corps) Pilot's Wings. Flat, embroidered and quite delicate, these wings show plenty of age, character and service wear. They were removed from a tunic a very long time ago and are rough around the edges. They have the central brown wreath and the letters R.F.C. surmounted by a King's Crown. Size - approx. 10 and a half cm wide.

A scarce, nice, original from the First World War.
